Tite will continue as Brazil head coach until the 2022 World Cup, despite the country s quarter-final exit in Russia.
Brazil were one of the favourites to win the World Cup but the South American giants were surprisingly eliminated 2-1 by Belgium in the last eight at Russia 2018.
However, the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has opted to stick with Tite heading into the next tournament, which will take place in Qatar.
The CBF has also retained co-ordinator Edu Gaspar for the same duration.

Eric Ramsay wants Minnesota United to move on quickly from their poor run of form, starting with Sporting Kansas City on Saturday.
Minnesota were on a five-match winning run in the MLS, but have failed to win either of their previous two outings, drawing with Colorado Rapids before losing to Los Angeles FC in midweek.
They still sit fourth in the Western Conference, though, and are only five points behind leaders Real Salt Lake.
Ramsay remains optimistic despite their recent form, but admits they need to address the problems sooner rather than later.
The general level of performance [in the last game] was obviously far better than the one before, he said.
We certainly showed some positive steps, but I know the big thing for us is that we approac…
Mikel Arteta believes Kai Havertz still has a further level to reach after enjoying an excellent start to the season with Arsenal, who go to Bournemouth when the Premier League resumes on Saturday.
Arsenal emerge from the second international break of 2024-25 one point adrift of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table with 17 points from seven matches.
With four goals and an assist, Havertz has been a key factor in their positive start, excelling in his new false nine role and scoring a crucial equaliser as they fought back to beat Southampton 3-1 before the hiatus.
Asked if Havertz was now playing with greater confidence, Arteta said: You can tell. He takes the ball and he runs with the ball.
He s on the high press, he goes full gas, the way …
Gianluigi Donnarumma has signed a new four-year deal with AC Milan to disappoint a host of high-profile suitors.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper brought the long-running saga over his future to an end by committing to the San Siro club until 2021, with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain having been credited with an interest in him.
Donnarumma, who is represented by agent Mino Raiola, had rejected an offer to extend his contract beyond 2018, but the promise of improved terms – thought to be €6million a year – have encouraged a change of heart.
The news comes after prolonged speculation over Donnarumma s intentions, with the Italy international having been widely tipped to leave.
He deleted his Instagram account and claimed it w…
Gabriel Magalhaes scored the decisive goal as Arsenal got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
The defender netted the only goal of the contest after 64 minutes, punishing Spurs for a lapse in concentration from a corner as he drifted away from Cristian Romero to thump in Bukayo Saka s pinpoint cross.
The hosts had the better chances in the first half, through Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke, but were thwarted by David Raya s saves and some disappointing misses.
Despite Spurs search for a late equaliser, Arsenal were able to hold out for the win and maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta s side are up to second in the table on 10 points, while Spurs are 13th after suffering their second d…

Manchester City will start their Premier League title defence at West Ham, while Frank Lampard will host his former club Chelsea with Everton on the opening weekend.

Jurgen Klopp s Liverpool will aim to mount another title charge in the 2022-23 campaign and they go to newly promoted Fulham for their first game.

Italy captain Giorgio Chiellini insists his side were deserved winners in Sunday s Euro 2020 final against England after dominating from the moment they fell behind.
The Azzurri recovered from Luke Shaw s strike after one minute and 57 seconds – the earliest ever European Championship final goal – to win the competition for a second time.
Leonardo Bonucci levelled up for Italy with 67 minutes played, becoming the oldest scorer in a Euros final, and it was Roberto Mancini s side who prevailed 3-2 on penalties for their sixth major tournament title.
England had just 34.4 per cent of the ball, the Three Lions lowest figure at Wembley since drawing 2-2 with Spain in November 2016.
Italy also outshot their opponents 19 to six across the 120 minutes and C…
Atletico Madrid suffered a painful defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final in 2014, and Diego Godin thinks the experience will assist them in avoiding a repeat on Saturday.
Godin opened the scoring when the two teams faced off for the trophy in Lisbon two years ago but, after Sergio Ramos equaliser in second-half stoppage time, Madrid went on to claim a 4-1 win.
The pair will meet in the final again in Milan on Saturday, and the Uruguayan wants Atletico to use that defeat as inspiration this time around.
Scoring in the final felt great, of course – it was a very nice goal – but we didn t lift the trophy at the end, and that was what mattered, Godin told UEFA.
We lost, but you have to take the positives from defeats like that and learn wh…
Martin Odegaard is hoping the “brutal” way Arsenal lost the Premier League title last season can help them lift the trophy this year.
The Gunners led the way for 248 days during the last campaign before ultimately being caught and passed by eventual champions Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta’s side are once again in among the contenders this season but missed the chance to move back to the summit as they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat to West Ham on Thursday night.
If results go their way, victory at Fulham on New Year’s Eve could still see Arsenal top of the table heading into 2024 – where Odegaard is aiming to go one better than last year.
“Hopefully, we have learnt some lessons from last year. It was a brutal end to the season for us,” he said…
